We all feel idle everyday. It is in our system and psychological constitution. Breakdown your workloads into smaller tasks. Doing so, will lessen its level of difficulty because the approach would require less effort. Apply this method to your future goals as well. In essence, laziness will never haunt you for good.  Do not forget to modify your healthy lifestyle habits: Eat a balanced diet, sleep and exercise. Pamper your body with fresh air. Use your willpower to gain perseverance and finish a given task or project on or before the deadline. Therefore, laziness will not create a distracting effect on you wherever you are. Being inactive is due  to the lack of motivation. Affirm to yourself that you can do the job, no matter how nerve wrecking these are. Think about the positive outcomes if you will promise to yourself that you will be as industrious as your superiors. Do not get swayed  by the challenges and difficulties which lie ahead. These lead to discouragement, non-action and avoidance; thereby, affecting your future benefits and other job-related rewards like promotions.

Idleness delays your benefits from your job.

Ponder about the negative results or consequences of laziness. This kind of introspection would pump up your adrenaline and compel you to act accordingly. Do tasks one at a time. Treat your job as mental and physical exercises. Did you ever realize that your daily workload fosters a strong mind, body and it sets in a tone of success? Dreams: The Untainted Reality behind its Psychological Manifestation

Dreams are termed as royal routes to our unconscious. This has been the unchallenged belief and conclusion of Sigmund Freud, the proponent of psychoanalysis. He said that these are abundant in tortuous twists and turns. Over the years, it is alluded to as the foreseen warnings of the future. For neurologists, a dream is the hallmark of periodic surges of our brain such as a rapid eye movement sleep dreaming. According to recent scientific researches, these are the critical aspects of human learning. Moreso, each dream allows our mind to enhance its problem solving abilities. On the other hand, some say that these are the emblems of mental illness or a dream can preempt its onset by its unique mechanism.

Dreams are caused by rapid surges in our brain.

IMAGE: https://www.micheleknight.com/articles/spirit/dreams/six-simple-steps-to-understanding-dreams-2/

Neuroscientist Mark Solms has some latest findings about dreams. First, it is not the end result of sleep. To date, whenever we dream it aids us to rest. He further explained.

"Dreams protect sleep,"  They furnish an ersatz world to keep the brain temporarily occupied in its unyielding quest for activity. His iconoclastic view of dreams springs from emerging evidence that REM sleep and dreaming are not synonymous, and that the brain mechanisms involved in REM sleep may be entirely different from those involved in dreaming. Dreaming, in fact, is now thought to recruit areas of the brain involved in higher mental functions".

A dream enhances our brain for its higher mental functioning.

The moment that you dream about something, it entertains your brain and  serves as a diversion to make our CNS to be fully involved in the REAL WORLD. Dreams are defined as delusional hallucinatory states. These are being stewarded by our brain's motivational system. Thus, it is being tapped by the numerous amounts of dopamine. It is mainly responsible in directing our attention. Our creative thoughts are jumping off the background to grab our attention and will make us act and  drive towards a goal-driven behavior. Any type of dream tries to trick us that we are striving in a wider world or dimension. In our world today, being alive encourages us to gratify all our needs that we had encountered in the other world.

A dream motivates us through our wanting or seeking system.

IMAGE: https://www.stevenaitchison.co.uk/7-things-didnt-know-dreams/

A motivational system is an orchestration of primitive and higher neural structures, which perfectly orients us to the external world, with expectancy and anticipation. Dreams send us into action and an appetitive arousal according to Freud. Each dream is a byproduct of overvalued thoughts. In reality, whenever we do so hallucination begins. This is the intensive activation of our wanting mechanism.
In addition, dopamine creates hallucinations and it is concluded by experts that this hormone is the ultimate core of a human dream.

The Neuroscience of Human Embrace

Hugging someone is a heartwarming sign of how we care for a person. In the holistic study of human embrace, it has been proven to provide positive emotions toward our loved ones. Physiologically, the neuroscience of human embrace releases huge amounts of oxytocin, a pair bonding hormone. When we embrace someone, it is a unique way of deepening your relationship with him or her in a biochemical state. But, how do we hug and what is its determining factor? According to scientists, it is a behavior which is located at the intersection of an individual's of both motor and emotional networks in the brain. When we hug, there is the presence of a leading arm which serves as its initiator.

Hugging releases a pair-bonding hormone known as oxytocin.

The neuroscience of human embrace has significantly pointed out that almost 90 percent of us are right handed, As a result, we tend to use our right dexterity to comfort those people who think that there is no more light when they are inside a dark tunnel. Based on the summary of research findings, left-handed hugs are more prevalent in emotional scenarios. Positive or negative outcomes do not matter at all. A human brain has its own remote control. Read on. Our left side is ruled by the right part of the brain and vice versa. Hence, the right side is responsible for controlling our complex emotions. On the contrary, the left part is involved in controlling our emotional networks and motor skills. Despite of its advantages, there are some people who hate the idea of being embraced.

Disliking an embrace emanates from an early childhood way of rearing.

Suzanne Degges White, a professor of counselling and Counsellor Education from Northern Illinois University, said

"Our tendency to engage in physical touch—whether hugging, a pat on the back, or linking arms with a friend—is often a product of our early childhood experiences.”
Likewise, hugging is essential in the development of a child's emotional upbringing. However, it might be uncomfortable for others. The simple explanation behind anti-huggers is  that their families are not physically demonstrative. Similarly, if some are emotionally starved with embrace, they end up to become social huggers during their lifetime. These are the ones that cannot greet their friends without a loving hug.

Hugging your child provides a high self esteem and less behavioral problems.

Additionally, the lack of embrace could lead to an underdeveloped vagus nerve. This is a bundle of nerves which runs from the spine going to one's abdomen. Once it has occurred, a person becomes less compassionate and the production of oxytocin is decreased. The invisibility of this hormone brings forth a difficulty in deciphering social cues. Moreover, a warm and tender touch improves our self-esteem as a whole. Degges White adds.

"People who are more open to physical touch with others typically have higher levels of self-confidence".
 Embrace has amazing health benefits.

Different types of physical touch have played pivotal roles in enhancing our health particularly the boosting of our immune system, according to a scientific research of  Carnegie Mellon University.  Furthermore, hugs lessen our susceptibility to infections. To date, another surprising experiment had concluded that fist bumping is the most hygienic way of greeting. Whatever we call it, she left these meaningful context for us to ponder.

"You may very well find yourself overcome with relief, gratitude, surprise, acceptance and even regret for having closed yourself off from your own self for so long,”

Body Languages and Facial Expressions: The Unique Understanding of Your Inner Self

Body languages and facial expressions are non-verbal movements that we unconsciously use for communication to convey volumes of information to the people around us. The mystifying language of one's body provides almost 70% of all forms of communication. It is very important to understand these body movements and accompanying cues are mainly based on context. A particular facial expression could indicate happiness  through a sweet smile. On the other hand, a frowning face provides a clue that you are lonely and depressed. Whatever is written on our face, genuinely reveals what our emotions dictate. Some of the most common human feelings are: Happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, disgust, fear, desire and contempt.

Different facial expressions reveal your real feelings.

IMAGE: https://www.verywellmind.com/understand-body-language-and-facial-expressions-4147228

Body languages and facial expressions are gauges of trust. Researches have conducted a scientific study which featured  a slight raise of an eyebrow and a smile. In essence, these expressions denote friendliness and confidence in yourself. Similarly, there's a new study which says that an individual's intelligence is based on how his or her face reacts. For instance, a narrow-nosed person is said  to be brilliant. In addition, joyful persons are perceived to be more intellectually-stimulating than those who are always angry. What about our eyes? Since time immemorial, these are dubbed as the windows of our soul.  Your sense of sight will always reveal what you are thinking about.

Eye movements reveal a person's inner emotions.

Body languages and facial expressions such as an eye gaze has different meanings. If a person has an interest in you, his or her eyes are directly looking at you. However, a prolonged eye contact might indicate that somebody is threatening you. Meanwhile if the eyes are moving to and fro, we tend to hide our real feelings. Although blinking is a natural eye movement, you need to take note of its and frequency. People who are distressed are blinking their eyes rapidly. Infrequent movements are associated with deliberate eye control. Furthermore, eye pupil and its size convey non-verbal gestures of arousal most especially if these organs are highly-dilated.

Dilated pupils mean arousal.

IMAGE: https://wifflegif.com/tags/16817-dilate-gifs

Our characterizing body language and facial expressions include diverse mouth movements. People who are biting their lower lip might be worried or having irrational fears. Covering it without an apparent reason could be a sign of covering  your feelings of disapproval. Did you know that certain smiles have worth-knowing psychological interpretations?  Pursed lips or its tightening correspond to distaste or the non-approval of a person or situation. Turned up lips are signifying that you are extremely happy. On the other hand, if  these are slightly pointing downwards you are feeling sad and feels so much grimace.

Mouth movements could be signs of fears and insecurities.

Gestures as parts of body languages and facial expressions are the most obvious body movements.  Some of these are influenced by a specific culture. But, for each country their meanings differ from one another like in the United States. A clenched fist resonates solidarity or anger. Disapproval or its opposite is shown through a thumbs up or thumbs down hand gestures. The okay gesture of your hand is exhibited by touching altogether the index finger and your thumb to form a circle. In some parts of Europe, the  above mentioned gesture says that a person is a good for NOTHING creature. Peace among people of different races is signified by the V-sign. For British and Americans, this V-shaped gesture has an offensive connotation when the back of their hand is facing outwards.

OK hand gesture means NOTHING in some countries.

Body languages and facial expressions are the external manifestations of our inexpressible emotions. These non-verbal types of information could be even more qualifying because these are your darkest secrets from within that conveys your genuineness through your subconscious state of mind. Try to unmask yourself visually and see how others perceive your overall personality with or without judgment and  prejudice involved.

Personalism : Do Filipinos Really Need this in their Cultural Roots and Personality?

Why are some Filipinos think of themselves as God which make it too difficult to deal with their own countrymen? Numerous human ambivalences are the ultimate culprits. Joys and pains are perceived as complexes; therefore, insults get in the way to decrease their labels which  somehow provide an ignorance of a person's worth and depth in its strictest sense. Hence, evolutionary psychology has focused on the biological drives of man. For Pope John Paul II, the evils within men pulverized heir uniqueness. To set the tone of relevant changes, personalism  must be revived. It is a fundamental truth that being extraordinary is coupled with immeasurable depth.

Personalism is an act of faith for Pope Francis.

IMAGE: https://www.stltoday.com/opinion/columnists/michael-gerson-francis-profound-personalism/article_5f88a9f1-8425-5cc1-913e-c7cdd93445ac.html

Personalism is a characterizing dividing line between a dog and yourself.  To date, you might have been blessed with a great dog. However, in yourself you have dignity, infinity and uniqueness. Dignity is not dependent on your endeavors. Likewise, infinite worth is within each of us. Also, each personal encounter is a meeting of equals. For example, doing the unselfish service to save the poor is not about saving them. This is a meeting of absolute equals as both which  are patiently seeking  to change and grow. The act of being personal has a responsibility of both parties to see and realize that each person possesses full  depth. Moreover, a busy life each day intends to reduce people with superficial tasks. The I-Thou  happenings stories take us back to a bitter reality that everyone is a struggle that we are not totally aware of.

Some people are personalists in their attitudes and their behaviors.

IMAGE: https://www.slideshare.net/BelindoAguilar/strengths-and-weaknesses-of-the-filipino-character

Self-gifting is the second responsibility of personalism to get in touch with yourself . Apart from this, personalists believed that they are open wholes. So,  their ideals of perfection is in communion with others. They are always asking these queries. "Who do I follow or who do I love? The second responsibility is a mastery of how should we use ourselves as gifts to benefit others. Self-giving fosters wholeness to a fragmented personality. The third responsibility of humans is availability. To be open at all times for the sake of friendship. In deed, it is very hard to do because most Filipinos are busy everyday. It requires time and has to be done with sincerity.

Availability as part of personalism needs time and effort because of a busy culture.

IMAGE:https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-asia/japan-benefactor-leaves-2000-lottery-tickets-in-elevator-for-flood-victims

The different institutions in our country demand a change of structure to live up to personalism responsibility. For example, company owners are treating their employees as units to maximize the ROI of stakeholders.  But, we need to change some of these destructive cultures with a moral revolution which unanimously inspires us to be an angel to others,

IMAGE:https://betanews.com/2017/12/22/security-burnout-avoidable-or-inevitable/

Stress and burnout are too distinct from one another. Refer to the comparison below:

Stress is mainly characterized by over engagement, overactive emotions, hyperactivity, causes anxiety and it destructs your physical well-being. On the other hand, burnout causes blunted emotions, a person has a feeling of disengagement, detachment, depression, its damage targets one's affective state and a person perceives life as worthless. Oftentimes, if you have this disturbing psychological problem, you feel that overworking had caught you unaware. However, this is NOT its ultimate cause.

The other contributory factors are: Lifestyle and personality traits, lack of recognition or reward from your job, numerous  job demand expectations and working in a high-pressured environment. As for its lifestyle triggering factors, it includes overworking without time for social interaction, inadequate support systems, too much work responsibilities without any assistance from peers and the necessity to be in control at all times.

People who are experiencing burnout have no social life.

Here are the most effective solutions to break the chains of burnout. First, use the three R's mode self-treatment. Recognize, reverse and resilience. Recognize pertains to the close monitoring of its sign and symptoms before it's too late. Reverse is your ability to undo the damage by seeking the help of family and friends. Resilience talks about strengthening your overall well-being to handle stress effectively by taking good care of your body and emotional health. Develop your social interaction skills to calm down your CNS or Central Nervous System. Do not hesitate to talk to those people who are close to you. Your family and friends are the most trusted support groups. Try to be more sociable by hanging out with friends. Turn off your mobile phone once in a while  and have a well-deserved vacation trip. Schedule social events with your co-workers.

A fun-filled vacation trip helps you to renew your overall well-being.

Negative thinkers keep on complaining even about the smallest things in life. As much as possible, lessen your contact with them to avoid a  pessimistic outlook in life. Join a community group which will teach you how to uplift your spirit if burnout  recurs. Establish new friendships  which will inspire you in everything that you do. Find a much easier job that will ensure high productivity levels. Find value in your job. A huge sum of money cannot buy your inner peace and happiness. Enjoy what you do at work. Balance is the key towards personal productivity without draining your persona. If you dislike your job, never forget to satisfy yourself by exploring the other areas in your life. Ponder about your creative side and use it to fight back burnouts. Choose activities which are not work-related. Lastly, relax and have enough sleep to rewire your brain cells.

Enrol in a yoga class to rewire your brain cells.

Burnout is merely a product of poor mindset. Set your priorities in life and keep in mind that whatever work you have, it is a BLESSING for you, your family and work associates who need your expertise and talents to benefit the company which trusts and believes in you despite of your limitations.

But, what caught my attention was the surprising definition of a notable investor,  Mark Cuban. He said,

To me, the definition of success is waking up in the morning with a smile on your face, knowing it's going to be a great day. I was happy and felt like I was successful when I was poor, living six guys in a three-bedroom apartment, sleeping on the floor."

Love yourself and your work are her success formulas.

Microsoft's Bill Gates is known as the wealthiest man in the world. His total net worth is $86 billion. However, his lingering idea of success is all about relationships and leaving behind an indelible and  historic legacy to the world.
